I am a [female] university student ...
and my appearance suits my university.

I learn ... I discuss ... I debate
We compete in loving our university

No Comment. Hell. Please Comment. Please help me understand. Please tell me I don't work for this institution.

Both posters are displayed in Kaifan (داخل الحرم الجامعي)

Thank you cameraman N.M.

OMG! I wanted to comment on that, I came to College Saturday Morning, a bit late for my morning class well not really, but I had 10 minutes to head upstairs, I saw this poster, and I cracked up. I called my friend and told her that we should check out the poster together.

We got together later on and decided that this poster must be a joke or something because seriously, I heard like 3 yrs ago or something that they tried to implement the rule about dress code in university, but you still see ill-dressed females and males, and seriously there is no use whether its a poster or a rule, they won't become brainwashed with a poster. That's the reason it's up, to brainwash :P

But in my case, it was to make me laugh LOL!

And yes you do work for this psycho Institution!

Sorry guys, I don’t agree with most of you who see this and whine, complain or even laugh about these posters. You are the ones who witnessed this and you all know well what is the aim of such actions. This was not posted in a high school or an elementary school; it was posted in the highest educational institute in the country. Your duty is to organize a protest against it (no matter how small a group) like our mothers did years ago when the fundamentalists tried to impose 3abaya on them. I’m talking to the new generation of today; wake up and take your rights because this will never stop.

shuroq. segregation is the rule at KU. all else is minor :)

jackie. ill-dressed? do we really have ill-dressed people in campus? except if you mean ill-dressed as in not having a sense for fashion :)

papillona, desmon, nazzal :)

zorath. something terrible IS happenning. but it's like poison. we're being fed with it in small quantities that we don't really see it happening. we're becoming immune.

eva. not off-topic really. it's the same messed up mentality.

judy, 3baid and blasha. yeah i heard they're everyone.

laialy and jewaira. we're investigating. rumor say its the student union but and these seem plausabile since who else would have this much money to waste on brainwashing people. will let you know as soon as possible.

emikweesta. well maybe KU is changing to a fashion university :)
miya. i still love KU inspite of all this. you think that will last?

alia. well i guess now all our girls have to worry about is their dress code.

jazz. yalla then give us a counter ad. one with girls in bikinis with a caption that reads: KU. It's like a day on the beach (lol. ad business is totally not me:)

zinzinq. nothing's great about this ad, neither intended nor actual message.

ayya. i wish we have those women's courage and conviction :(

madm200. you're welcome.

mcarabian. sorry to disappoint you but there is a mandate (and yes jackie it's not a rumour) maybe 2 years back a university circulation informing us that faculty members or any other employees at the university have the right to 'advise' students on their appearances if they see fit. so cover up those arms sexy lady :)

and finally: eva, laialy, mia, emikweesta, madm200, blasha. welcome to my blog. come back soon.
